I’m Shantanu Khanwelkar — people call me ShanKhaa. For over two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of how businesses communicate with the world and how they operate from within. This combination is rare. And for growing businesses, it’s exactly what makes the difference.

The journey that shaped the thinking

I started in advertising — running my own agency, And Creations, from 2000. Graphic design, outdoor advertising, event management, copywriting, publishing. A full-service agency for clients across Pune, Ahmednagar, and Aurangabad. It was hands-on, fast, and real. I learned early that great creative work only has value when it’s rooted in what the client actually needs to achieve.

 

That belief deepened during a decade-long engagement with UNDP Project, as a Trainer, Evaluator across India and some of Maharashtra’s most significant governance institutions. This work was part of a Government’s Capacity Building initiative under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) bringing international standards of capacity building to government administration across Maharashtra.

 

Along the way, I worked as a consultant at Persistent Systems, one of India’s leading IT companies. I co-founded Cleanergy Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd — a waste management startup. And I also co-founded Kratoss Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd and Pro Foster Pvt Ltd. Both reflect the same philosophy: that capability building and business performance are not separate conversations.

 

Each of these wasn’t a detour. Every role added a layer — advertising taught me communication, government training taught me systems, startups taught me what growth actually costs, and consulting taught me what decisions really look like under pressure.

My background as a founder, trainer, and consultant gives me a practitioner’s lens. I’ve made decisions under real constraints. I’ve trained hundreds of people. I’ve built teams from scratch. That shapes how I advise — grounded, practical, and built for execution.
